Mental Health during Covid-19
Here are some links to websites - by no means an exhaustive list but which have some online resources that you might find helpful:
The Mental Health Foundation
The Mental Health Foundation is part of the national mental health response during the coronavirus outbreak. Government advice designed to keep us safe is under constant review and will be different depending on where you live.
Rethink
Rethink has information on building communities that care and talk about how to do that. They talk about what’s needed to bring a community together and also have resources that are available in the local area.
Take Off
Take off is another local resource that people can use – it has groups that people can join virtually which can be helpful.
Sane
SANE have some info but not as easy to find as other websites:
Anxiety Canada
This website has downloadable resources. You need to create a log on to access their info but you don’t have to pay. There’s so much on the website that sometimes it’s difficult to navigate through the vast amount of stuff. They also have an app you can download which helps people on the go deal with their thoughts – so good for younger people although they have a specific section of the site for younger people.
