Bereavement during Covid-19
We all grieve in different ways and at different times - the process of grief doesn't seem to progress in a consistently upward curve, or 'improve' as time goes on. We never 'get over' losing somebody we love, we just very gradually get better at living with it but there can be huge ups and downs and great pain and sadness along the way for a very long time.
It's been especially hard for people during the pandemic to begin this process well sometimes - people have had to be apart from those they love as they die, or have been prevented from gathering and remembering in exactly the way they would have liked to because of the restrictions. Some have felt very isolated physically and mentally in their pain and loss.
