Let's Grow Church - SCC Garden Project 

Seasalter Christian centre has an extensive set of gardens; they are a valuable, but barely used, asset……
we have a plan to change that!

What is our vision:

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our gardens could be a beautiful, welcoming, interlinked, natural space where we came together to grow friendships, faith and community

We want to make our gardens

• accessible,
• attractive,
• eco-friendly,
• safe and welcoming to all.

Wild garden for contemplation:


 We have already come a long way:

 Our youth saw the vision several years ago and planted a wildlife garden;
 we plan to make this a secure, quiet area for prayer and reflection by adding seating and a      gate at the far end.

 



Lawn garden for celebration:


 Last year we cleared the rubbish from the lawn garden- this will be a large activity     and celebration space for barbeques, weddings and children’s parties with storage   for garden equipment….we could even start a ‘Man shed’




Hub garden for community:


 And we reclaimed the hub garden from the jungle! 

 With the side fences removed and an end gate added
 this will create a safe, spill-out courtyard from the
 church hall, kitchens and Hub




 

There is still a lot to do but Together let’s grow church!
